Ilya Nathanson is Founder and President of the Jewish Folk Crafts Guild. He graduated Kiev State Art College and then Kiev State Educational University. For more then 30 years Mr. Nathanson is working as a Craft Teacher to involve the students in folk creativity. Since 1977 in Ukraine he started to search, collect and restore the samples of Jewish Folk, forbidden by Soviet Government. His own works reflected and still do the style of the old masters.
